National Assurance Standard (NAS) is a certification standard operated by BuiltRight Technologies Ltd. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of NAS certification services.

1. Scheme Operator

The National Assurance Standard (NAS) certification scheme is operated and administered by BuiltRight Technologies Ltd, registered in England and Wales. References to "NAS", "we", "us", or "our" throughout these terms refer to BuiltRight Technologies Ltd as the scheme operator.

2. Certification Services

NAS provides independent, evidence-based certification services to businesses operating in the UK. Certification is awarded following a documented assessment process and is not guaranteed at the point of application.

3. Application & Assessment

By submitting an application for NAS certification, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You acknowledge that certification decisions are based solely on the evidence submitted and assessed against documented NAS criteria.

4. Certification Fees

Application and certification fees are set by BuiltRight Technologies Ltd and are subject to change. Fees are non-refundable except where NAS is unable to progress an application through no fault of the applicant.

5. Use of the NAS Mark

Certified organisations may use the NAS certification mark only in accordance with the NAS Mark Usage Guidelines. Use of the mark must cease immediately upon suspension, withdrawal, or expiry of certification.

6. Appeals & Complaints

Appeals and complaints relating to certification decisions are administered by BuiltRight Technologies Ltd in accordance with the NAS Appeals and Complaints Procedures. Details are available on this website.

7. Data Protection

BuiltRight Technologies Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected in connection with NAS certification services. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
